The check-in was pleasant and courteous (you cannot check in online). The cabin was not quite what I would call "business class"-- they call it "premium". The seats were spacious enough, the cabin clean and well-maintained throughout the flight. The crew professional and helpful. The equipment is the best-- the new Boeing Dreamliiner. Not what you would expect from a low cost company. We landed on time. Baggage elivery was prompt. I would do it again."Minusy: "I travel all year internationally. I am 5'5" woman. The Premium seats must be designed for a tall Scandinavian male! I couldn't find a comfortable position. The headrest was too high and shoved my head forward, there was a hollow behind my back (and no pillows distributed). The seats do not recline to flat-- more like economy plus seats on other airlines. The foot rest tilts down, so you can't cuddle up to compensate for the discomfort, despite the ample width. Do eat before you board and carry a few snacks. But honestly, for this price, no complaints. I did notice that one or two of the passengers had drunk too much beer in the Alitalia Lounge at JFK and carried them onto the flight, were then rather loud and unpleasant. One we were on board, the cabin crew then made a rather abrupt and rude announcement telling the passengers to board quickly otherwise we would lose our slot time and be delayed by a further one hour. Fortunately that additional delay did not happen. From the moment the booking was complete, a series of email demands, warnings and impossible conditions ensured that it was never clear whether we and our baggage would get on the flight. The initial price was unreasonably low and the eventual cost was twice what was quoted but it had to be paid as a series of penalties over several days.
